The President of Indonesia, Jokowi’s hope for Tomini Bay

 

The President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo asked for the continuation of Sail Tomini. He stated taht he didn’t want if the event was just held once. “Sail Tomini’s sea, bay and beach are very beautiful but Sail Tomini needs to be marketed one or two years before so that everybody knows its existence.” Said the president. He asked for promoting this event long on social media all around the world. By doing so, it is expected that it can attract many people. Sail Tomini has been held since 5 May 2014. The activities done are the exploration of isolated islands and Pemuda Nusantara Ship which take Indonesian students around the island.
